...sharing the warmth of God's love by creating, stuffing, and sending Christmas Stockings into our community and unto the ends of the world…

The Stockings Patriots create approximately 3000 denim stockings annually to be stuffed with goodies and sent to USA military bases.

The project begins in February with donated fabrics which are traced and cut out into stockings. The stockings then are distributed to individual seamstresses and interested groups for sewing, putting on cuffs, attaching ribbon hooks, and decorating. Throughout the year, items such as small games, decks of cards, small toiletries, and business promotionals are collected. In November, donations of candy are requested. Finally, Christmas cards with handwritten messages of encouragement are placed in each stocking just before they are packed for delivery.
